September 2019

Betsy hosted Quilt Therapy in September attended by Bobbie, Sandy, Marty, and Joan.  The Pair/Pere/Pear challenge quilts were due.  Several had been show at a previous meeting, and several more shown here.

There will be no meeting in October as we will be attending PIQF instead.  Next meeting is at Joan's house in November.  (NOTE:  Place changed to Deanna's house as Joan will be out of town.)

Marty showed her pair challenge, a wonderful Yin and Yang pair.

She had also put together some log cabin blocks using the Karen Eckmeier pattern shown in the book Layered Waves.  Love the spikes in the border.

And a preemie quilt for the guild.

Joan had made progress on her latest EPP work with Kaffe Fassett dots.

Betsy had finished a beaded curtain look quilt in her favorite blue and white color scheme.  The borders are only on the sides.

And Betsy showed her pair quilt, a pair of owls, of course, with button eyes..

Betsy had seen a picture of a quilt made from strip sets and then cutting triangles that were turned in alternating directions.  Mostly Kaffe fabrics.

Bobbie showed her pair/pear challenge quilt, in artistic Bobbie style.

Sandy had her pear/pair challenge piece to show with pear fabric and pairs people.

Sandy has also been sewing garments and showed off a new blouse she made.
